We were approached to design a new gallery and events area to showcase Astrea's property portfolio and provide an exceptional space that demonstrates their commitment to creating outstanding spaces with light, flexibility and quality materials. Our response was to blend classic and elegant design features with functional and flexible elements.
Situated on one floor within no.34 Bruton Place, above two retail units and beneath three storeys of residential apartments, we began by removing the building’s non-structural walls, secondary doors and outdated services to create two generous full-length flexible spaces. We then split the layout between a marketing suite and a large meeting room that can be divided again or transformed into a single events space.
