The former carpet factory was built in the 1960s, when much of the Old Street area was still occupied by light industry. Our strategy focused on improving the relationship between it and the older buildings nearby – the Armoury House and Bunhill Fields opposite, and John Wesley’s Grade I-listed, eighteenth-century house and chapel next door.
