St Bees Boarding House is home to boys from Mill Hill School in north London. While the main school building, dating from 1825, is classical in style, St Bees is a far more modest, late-Victorian three-storey structure and the smallest of the school’s five boarding houses.
Our full internal refurbishment of the building, which had been flood damaged, began with the beautiful period features – windows, timber parquet flooring and fireplaces – which we retained where possible.
