The existing Bloomsbury Building was a legacy of the post-war reconstruction of the area, an austere neo-classical structure occupied by the MoD for many years. With its defensive appearance and secretive feel, it contrasted strongly with many of its more public-facing neighbours, which include Hawksmoor’s last London church, the Grade I-listed St George of Bloomsbury.
“We followed this project throughout its refurbishment and fell in love with the building and its new interiors. We then looked to continue the look and feel throughout our space. We are delighted with the end result and very proud to add The Bloomsbury Building to our portfolio.”
