The Office Group

2012-

By tapping into both the vision of the organisation and the unique qualities of each of their buildings, our series of projects for The Office Group offer co-working spaces which are ‘all work and all play’.

As more flexible ways of doing business have increased in popularity, The Office Group’s co-working spaces have become highly desirable in the UK’s larger cities, and further afield in Europe. With progressive memberships allowing start-up companies to grow and develop, the group now has over 18,000 members.

High quality architecture and design is central to The Office Group offer. To give users a sense of belonging and ownership rarely felt with a traditional, anonymous serviced office, the fit-out and styling of each responds closely to the unique location and context.

This attitude of taking what is there, and working with it to deliver a new, enhanced take on the past, fits closely with our own attitude towards design, and so it’s not surprising that our collaboration with The Office Group now extends over a number of projects in central London.

The Black and White Building in Shoreditch started as a modest, light-touch refurbishment which would give an old furniture factory meanwhile use as flexible workspace. Black on the outside and white on the inside, the building’s strong identity soon attracted a community of small businesses and freelancers.
